Visit Guinea Pig Village
We have lots of guinea pigs for you to come and see in our Guinea Pig village. You will learn what guinea pigs like to eat and even get to stroke them! Thinking of getting your own guinea pigs?
Our friendly staff will be more than happy to provide you with advice on how to care for your furry friends and the best way to handle them.
Just like cats and dogs, ferrets love to climb, jump and run; they really are little bundles of energy. Here at Farmer Ted’s you can meet our lovely ferrets.
Shaun the sheep Adventure
Farmer Ted’s and Aardman, the multi-award winning creators of Shaun the Sheep and Wallace & Gromit have joined forces to create the Shaun the Sheep Adventure. This collaboration has brought Shaun and his friends to the North West, where they can’t wait to meet you!

Here at Farmer Ted’s our ponies Bracken, Ruby, Rosie and Jessie love meeting new friends so don’t forget to come and say hello. You can even groom them down at the Animal Learning Centre.

Horus Birds of Prey Demonstration
Be inspired by our captivating birds as they soar through the sky and perform in the Farmer Ted’s birds of prey flying demonstration.
Children of all ages will learn about glorious birds from the humble Kestrel to the mighty Bengal Eagle Owl.
Join one of our event hosts as they introduce you to our sheep. Learn lots of sheep facts and be entertained at the same time. You won't have a baaaad time!

In our mini-beast centre you will find a whole host of exciting and exotic animals not usually found down on the farm!
Our team look after an array of insects, reptiles, amphibians and fish.

Ferret Racing

Our Most Challenging Maze EVER! Open 11am-4:30pm (Last entry at 4pm)
The Massive Maize Maze is included in your Farmer Ted’s Farm entry.

Come and visit our Massive Maize Maze, it's the biggest, most challenging maze we have ever made perfect for people who love a good challenge!
Hop on one of our barrel rides as a tractor pulls you around various parts of the farm!
Barrel Ride Times: 11:15am, 12:15pm, 1:15pm, 2:15pm & 3:30pm
Barrel rides cost £1 per seat and can be paid for in the gift shop or coffee pod (card) or at the ride (cash)
On our Jurassic Tedventure, you will see over 8 different species of dinosaurs. Just hope we've fed them before your ride or they may still be hungry!
