Covid-19 FAQs

Get the answers to the most frequently asked questions about COVID-19 when it comes to visiting Farmer Ted's.

Farmer Ted’s Adventure Farm is in a Tier 3 area of the Government COVID alert system.

We respectfully ask all visitors to Farmer Ted’s from all areas to comply with the legislation that is specific to Lancashire and to enable us to continue to provide a COVID secure day out for everyone:

“People must not socialise with anybody they do not live with or have formed a support bubble with in any indoor setting or at outdoor hospitality venues & ticketed events.”

“The rule of 6 no longer applies at venues that charge an entry fee”

Please Remember:

Wash hands: Keep washing your hands regularly

Cover face: Wear a face covering in enclosed spaces

Make space: Stay at least 2 metres apart - or 1 metre with a face covering or other precautions

Our Halloweek and Halloweekend events are outdoor events so please come dressed in warm clothing, with a waterproof coat and wellingtons as the pumpkin patch and scary maze may be muddy.

Climb & Slide, our indoor play area for children aged over 4 will be open on weekends from Saturday 12th September.

Numbers are limited so pre-booking is essential. Bookings can only be made on the day at the farm and will be on a first come first served basis. Please note that we will also be restricting the number of adults in the play area and that they will be required to remain seated in household groups and wear a face covering while their children play. The use of hand sanitiser on entrance to the play area is essential.

Unfortunately, our indoor soft play areas will be closed for the foreseeable future.

From August 8th face coverings will be mandatory in all enclosed buildings at Farmer Teds including the animal barn.

Government Legislation now requires that masks are worn when in enclosed public spaces.

Farmer Teds Adventure Farm is proactive in promoting the use of face coverings where deemed necessary.

Legislation Guidance now states masks should be worn when buying takeaway food & drink, but can then be removed in a seating area. We ask respectfully that all customers over the age of 11yrs adhere to the guidelines and wear masks when in enclosed public spaces unless seated whilst eating.

We would also encourage visitors to wear masks wherever they feel comfortable to do so. Please bring a face covering with you although they will be able to be purchased on entry.

We are monitoring the guidelines daily and will implement them where deemed necessary.
